Lack of quality education is widely responsible for the vicious cycle of rising illiteracy and poverty in low-income communities.
Experiential learning is provided through sports, field trips, festival celebrations, workshops and participation in various platforms. A trip to the planetarium, a visit to the aerodrome, understanding banking operations, watching a movie at an upmarket multiplex, Diwali / Sankranti celebrations, every experience providing multitude opportunities to learn and grow.
Assessments are conducted on a regular basis to adapt the curriculum basis the children needs. Our experience over the last 18 months has strengthened our belief in formal structures to assess and record performance and impact. We have recently commenced volunteer induction and training programs to ensure understanding of our philosophy and teaching methodologies. Periodic volunteer feedback helps identify children with exceptional talent, learning disabilities and emotional issues and create solutions to help children imbibe better.
We currently work with 360 kids across learning centers in Juhu and Lokhandwala with more than 50 committed volunteers
